Pricing for this service
Proofreading & editing (for a human-authored draft) — from €0.07 per word, minimum €39.00 — the lowest per-word rate on the site.
MTPE (for a machine-translated draft) — from €0.09 per word, minimum €49.00.
These are two separate lines, on purpose: a buyer who started with machine translation isn’t quietly billed at the higher human-draft rate, and a buyer with a solid human draft isn’t overpaying for MTPE-level rework they don’t need.

Quality & handling
Your draft is reviewed against the original source text by a qualified linguist — not skimmed for typos, but checked for accuracy, fluency and terminology consistency. We ask which kind of draft you’re starting from because the two need genuinely different amounts of work.
Language pairs
Standard rate applies to Tier A (EN↔DE). Tier B and C pairs carry a multiplier; Tier D pairs are quoted individually.

Proofreading/editing is for a draft a person wrote. MTPE (machine-translation post-editing) is for a draft a machine produced.
Tell us when you send it. If a draft needs substantial rework beyond a standard proofreading pass, we’ll say so honestly and quote the difference before starting.
